Alexander ( Sandy ) Devers is the CEO of Streets Ahead , a nonprofit organization that supports adults with learning disabilities in the Scottish Borders . A musician , traveler , happy troublemaker and avid cyclist , he recently completed the Southern Tier , a nearly 3,500 mile cycling tour of the United States from San Diego , CA to St . Judy Eron splits her time between the ocean in Washington state and the remote mountain desert outside Big Bend National Park in Texas , where she and her partner Charlie enjoy off-the-grid living in a house she helped to build . James Moore is a New York Times bestselling author of four books on presidential politics , two non-fiction narratives , a sci-fi novel and a thriller . He is an Emmy-winning former TV news correspondent who was frequently named the “ Best TV Reporter in Texas ” by the Associated Press , UPI , and the Texas Headliners ’ Foundation . He has worked as an on-air political analyst for MSNBC and has appeared on numerous network and cable news shows . Shari Tripp has a BS and MS in biology from Sul Ross State University . She has contributed to the “ The Journal of Big Bend Studies ” and has interests in the plants and rock art of the Trans- Pecos area . Shari loves the desert and lives with her husband , dog and cats in Alpine , Texas .
