enjoys hiking, video games and Bollywood
films. In her off time, she works on a post-
apocalyptic story influenced by current

Susan Covington is a native Texan who has
been fortunate to live all across the U.S., has
traveled different parts of the world, and
knows for sure that Texas is the place to live.
Her passions include fine needlework, cooking
and baking, reading, writing, and watching

Jim Glendinning, an Oxford-educated

Madge Lindsay, formerly with Texas
Parks and Wildlife, launched the Great
Texas Coastal Birding Trail, the first birding
trail in the U.S. She is co-author of
Hummingbirds of Texas. She is now happily
retired in Fort Davis where she gardens for
hummingbirds and works with the Chamber
of Commerce to coordinate the Davis
Mountains Hummingbird Celebration.

Philipp W. Rosemann is a Professor of
Philosophy at the University of Dallas, whose

Reba Cross Seals is a published writer,
teacher and artist. She has been published in

Matt Walter is a renaissance man. Now
retired from USCG, he is presently a Museum
curator at Fort Davis, an history lecturer at
Sul Ross and a part time NPS ranger in Big
Bend Park. He spends his free time as a solo

Wendy Lynn Wright is an artist, musician,
freelance graphic designer and co-founder of
the Cenizo Journal. She has lived in the Big
Bend for the last 17 years, but now resides in
El Paso. Wendy’s story is her very first to be

Carolyn Brown Zniewski started her
publishing career at age nine, publishing a
one-page neighborhood newsletter called The
Circle. From 1992 – 2006 she wrote a recipe
column for two neighborhood newspapers in
Minneapolis, MN. In 2013, she started
